Do you have an upcoming boarding reservation?
Here's What to Bring:
- If you have not provided proof of current immunizations, please bring in a copy at drop off.
- We keep the following brands of dry dog food available at no extra charge:
- Iams
- Science Diet Small Bites
- Purina One Lamb & Rice
- Purina One Chicken & Rice
*If your pet is on a different food (than we carry) or wet food, please bring in enough for the duration of your pet’s stay.
- Although we supply fresh bedding and rugs, it can help some pets to have something that smells like home. A blanket or t-shirt is a great option to bring.
- If your dog is young or a chewer, please bring in toys that they are allowed to have.
- If your pet needs a slow feeder dish, please bring one in. Otherwise, please leave bowls at home. We don’t want to get it lost with ours or break/chip any ceramic dishes. For those dogs who need a raised feeder, we have those available, so you do not need to bring one from home.
- If you are boarding your feline companion, we supply the litter and litter box.
ABROAD TRAVELERS
If you will be out of the country while boarding your pet, please bring in the following in addition to what has been mentioned above:
- The name and phone number of an emergency contact. (Local preferred)
- Your pet’s veterinarian information. (It is also helpful if you contact your vet ahead of time to let them know that your pet will be in the care of Wag’n Tails Pet Resort while you are away)
- If your pet can be a picky eater, please bring in some tasty treats that we can utilize if needed. Canned chicken or canned tuna are great options if your pet’s dietary needs allow.
- If your pet is known to get soft stool if stressed, please speak to your vet ahead of time about options. Canned pumpkin (not pie filling) or a probiotic can be great options to have on hand if needed.
- Is your pet on medication? We supply hot dogs and peanut butter to hide them in. If your pet is known to be picky about taking meds, please bring in some other options for us like:
- Cheese
- Pill pockets
- Bread
- Wet food
- Deli meat
