If you’ll be out of the country while your pet is boarding with us at Wag’n Tails Pet Resort, we want to make sure everything goes smoothly. In addition to the standard items mentioned earlier, please provide the following:

Emergency Contact Information

We require the name and phone number of an emergency contact—preferably someone local. This ensures we have someone nearby who can make decisions if we can’t reach you while you’re away.

Your Pet’s Veterinarian Details

Please share your pet’s veterinarian information with us. It’s also a great idea to contact your vet ahead of time to let them know your pet will be staying with us. This helps us coordinate care quickly if needed.

Special Treats for Picky Eaters

If your pet tends to be a picky eater, bring along some tasty treats we can use to encourage eating. Popular options include:

• Canned chicken
• Canned tuna

Stress-Related Digestive Issues

Some pets experience soft stool when stressed. If this sounds like your pet, speak with your vet before your trip about possible solutions. Helpful items to bring include:

• Canned pumpkin (not pie filling)
• Probiotics

These can make a big difference in keeping your pet comfortable.

Medication Tips

We’re happy to administer medications and typically use hot dogs or peanut butter to hide pills. If your pet is picky about taking meds, please bring alternative options such as:

• Cheese
• Pill pockets
• Bread
• Wet food
• Deli meat

This ensures we can keep your pet on schedule without stress.
