Abroad Travelers

If you will be out of the country while boarding your pet, please bring in the following in addition to what has been mentioned above:

  • The name and phone number of an emergency contact. (Local preferred)
  • Your pet’s veterinarian information. (It is also helpful if you contact your vet ahead of time to let them know that your pet will be in the care of Wag’n Tails Pet Resort while you are away)
  • If your pet can be a picky eater, please bring in some tasty treats that we can utilize if needed. Canned chicken or canned tuna are great options if your pet’s dietary needs allow.
  • If your pet is known to get soft stool if stressed, please speak to your vet ahead of time about options. Canned pumpkin (not pie filling) or a probiotic can be great options to have on hand if needed.

Is your pet on medication? We supply hot dogs and peanut butter to hide them in. If your pet is known to be picky about taking meds, please bring in some other options for us like:

  • Cheese
  • Pill pockets
  • Bread
  • Wet food
  • Deli meat

About Kennel Cough

Kennel cough is a contagious respiratory infection that can spread quickly where dogs interact. Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, and nasal discharge. At Wag N Tails, we follow strict vaccination and sanitization protocols to help protect every guest and keep them healthy during their stay or grooming appointment.

Bringing your pet to Wag N Tails is quick and stress-free. Our streamlined check-in process takes just minutes, giving you time to share any care details and settle your pet into their vacation spot with confidence.

Vaccination Requirements 

Your pet’s health and safety are our top priority. All guests must be current on core vaccinations before boarding or grooming:

  • Dogs: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • Cats: Rabies and FVRCP

Vaccination Requirements

We understand that proper nutrition and medication are crucial for your pet's health. That's why we offer customized meal plans to cater to your pet's specific dietary needs. We have a variety of pet foods available, and you're welcome to bring your pet's preferred food from home. Our staff diligently follows medication schedules as prescribed by your veterinarian, ensuring your pet's health regimen continues uninterrupted during their stay. Please note that while we administer most medications, we do not provide injection services.

Vaccination Requirements 

At Wag 'N Tails Pet Resort, we prioritize the health and safety of every furry guest by requiring all pets to be current on core vaccinations before their stay or grooming appointment. Dogs must have proof of Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus), and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations, while cats need to be current on Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia). We're happy to provide vaccination verification forms that your veterinarian can complete, and we'll keep these records on file for your convenience during future visits.
